Vintage Huge 1 1/2 in. x 9 in. Clevis Shackle. 40 Ton Oregon Timber, Farm

Description

This is a very large Clevis Shackle that has a 1.5 in. pin.  It is Stamped 40, which I take to mean 40 ton. The Screw-in pin also has a cottar or bolt hole to keep it from backing out.

This clevis was used for many years by a House Mover. He probably got it from a logging outfit.  They have been used in logging, Sailing, and industry wherever tons of weight need to be moved or secured.

I must get my items to the Post office before 1:30 pm Mon-Friday. That means in order for me to have time to prepare your package, I have to have your payment before 12 noon, for the package to go out THAT DAY.
This means that if you can get payment to me before noon, the item will come to you one day sooner than if you make the payment after noon of the same day.
